Following on from previous success with this event, the Kiss Academy teamed up with the Education Maintenance Allowance, an organisation centred on keeping young people learning after compulsory schooling.
The focus this time was all things live, so once again we sourced the very best to run the workshops which included film, photography and stage and sound. On board this time around were award winning documentary maker Iain Cunningham, renowned sound engineer Andy Patterson, and stylist to the stars Clare Frith.
Back by popular demand for the street dance workshop were the highly sought after choreographers Duane and Caramel. For music production, and after the overwhelming response to past workshops, we enlisted Lord Fader, one half of the multi talented production duo Loose Cannons.
All workshops came together at the end of the day for a live performance by the MOBO Award winning N-Dubz. Everyone from each workshop got the chance to put into practise the skills they had learnt including filming and photographing the performance as well as styling N-Dubz, stage managing their performance and designing a new web page for them.
