
The COI booked a campaign with Kiss to promote their ‘Diplomas’ - courses for 14-16 year olds in the creative and media fields. As well as the airtime they booked they also required bespoke activity to engage this hard to reach audience.
Kiss came to arena 6 with the brief and the Kiss Academy was born. Held at the iconic Roundhouse in Camden, Kiss Academy invited 50 young people to meet and learn from the people on air and behind the scenes at Kiss - to try out their jobs for the day. The workshops included; joining the breakfast show team, creating a station jingle, deciding what music should go on the Kiss playlist, DJ mixing, and interviewing skills.
