Award news for arena 6
Hot of the press, the ‘are you the ckone’ campaign including the arena 6 managed DJ showcases was recently awarded a Silver at the radio industry’s equivalent of the Oscars, The Sony Awards. The judges said about the campaign;
‘A competition that successfully delivered a real challenge to the participants while offering valuable training information for those who could not yet reach the competitive standard’.
Nomination for Neev
Congratulations to Neev who has been nominated for ‘Best Radio Show’ in the UK Asian Music Awards. Since taking over the lunchtime slot on Kiss 100, Neev’s sassy style has been a breath of fresh air and she has increased her audience by 30%. Tres Risque Finds Glamorous New Home
On Friday 1st February 2008, hip members bar The Kingly Club takes over as the new venue for the monthly Très Risqué nights. This uber cool night is the brainchild of Simon Dale, presenter of KISS FM’s Drivetime show. Launched in 2007 at Pacha, Très Risqué fast established itself as a party for beautiful people, a great atmosphere & cool tunes and 2008 sees it move to this boutique venue for the sophisticated, grown up crowd.

DJ Swerve Goes International
We are very excited to announce that Arena 6 has teamed up with The Radio Department to produce a brand new radio show for the international market. For the last 7 years DJ Swerve has presented the coolest Hip Hop, R n B and Urban music show on London's famous Kiss FM - and now he's taking his unique blend of upfront music, exclusive big name interviews and on point mixing skills to a worldwide audience - with his new show, 'The Re-Up'. Hip Hop heads as far away as The Lebanon and Jordan will be able to hear DJ Swerve across their airwaves weekly from August 2007. www.theradiodepartment.com
Arena 6 Has Festival Fever
When Rapier, the Direct Marketing Agency Of The Year, wanted an original summer party, Strategy Partner, Bill Griffin, came to Arena 6. This August will see Rapier's 100 staff enjoying a 'Boutique Festival' - created specifically for them. At a secret out of town location all the usual festival fun will be condensed into a bespoke event - Arena 6 DJs, Fireworks, Performers, Bonfires, festival themed Vodka bar, dressing up box, lights, visuals, games and delicious al fresco food. Rocking In The Rain
The weather may have been disappointing but that didn't stop revelers at one of our recent parties getting in the spirit. Arena 6 created a memorable birthday party for client, Paul Bensley, at his Suffolk home. Nearly 200 guests enjoyed appetizing food from Suffolk's famous 'Farm Café' at both a formal dinner and late night barbecue as well as a bar stocked with locally brewed Earl Soham Ale and specially sourced Duvel lager. See pictures of the party in full swing with decorated marquee, dance floor rocking to our 'Virtual DJ', barbecue, crepe van, covered stage, live band and specially designed visuals display.
